On Friday 12th June we had the wonderful privilege and blessing of hosting Marjory Foyle for an overnight stay. Marjory had been in Sydney for a week speaking at seminars on Member Care organised by Missions Interlink. She is best know in Mission circles for her book "Honourably Wounded", a study of mental health issues suffered by cross cultural workers. She has also written an autobiography called "Can It be Me?" which is a great read of the life God has led her on.

She joined us for our prayer breakfast with our friends on Saturday morning and was a great encouragement to them.

What a wonderful Godly lady. A real blessing to meet her.

PHILOXENIA

A greek word used in the bible which is generally translated as hospitality, but literally means "love of strangers or foreigners".
When we were strangers, foreigners, God came to us and loved us.
Our attitude towards strangers and foreigners cannot remain untouched by that. Can it?

Tammy

We have had the pleaseure of hosting another visitor in the past week, Tammy from the US. She is on a 3 month trip and called by us for a special reason. She arrived at her 7th Continent. Yes, she has a personal ambition of visiting all continents and has now achieved her target.
Tammy is involved in rasing up ESL teachers.
